The largest in Russia International exhibition of professional equipment and technologies for broadcasting TRBE took place in Moscow, in Pavilion «Forum» of Expocentr on Krasnaya Presnya from 3 till 6 of November, 2003.
Within the framework of the exhibition was held the International Congress of National Association of TV and Radio Broadcasters of Russia "Progress of technologies of tele radio broadcasting" on which the experts of ERA company made 3-rd reports.
As usually, Era company actively took part in all events of the international exhibition TRBE, the exposition of our company included in this year the following products and solutions:
The low-cost system for shooting and editing of cinema (about 7000$) in a digital format of high definition HD, consisting from compact HD-camcorderJY-HD10U from JVC, in standard complete set of which delivery include the HD editing program HD MPEG Edit Studio Pro 1.0 LE, and newest tape recorder SR-VD400U from JVC of D-VHS format with a code D-Theater. Camcorder allows to record a signal in HD format with aspect ratio 16:9 in a mode 1280õ720p, 480/60p and conversion of material in D-VHS format through the digital interface IEEE-1394. This program is the basis for PC-based nonlinear editing system. The system works with videomaterial of MREG-2 format TS of HD quality. The recorder SR-VD400U can record 1080i or 720p digital signals via IEEE-1394 digital interface from PC, HD camcorder or from set-top box.
The line of Professional DV equipment, consisting from camcorder GY-DV5000, editing recorder BR-DV6000 and disc recorder DR-DV5000E from JVC.
GY-DV5000 has the new scheme of 12-bitanalog-digital converter of input video signal. The new film-movement mechanism is developed for use standard and mini-DV tapes. Also camcorder has streamcorder option.
New editing recorder BR-DV6000 can be easily integrated in professional studio. And due to a 12-volt power supply it can be used directly on the spot or on the way. It has a complete set of functions of the professional digital device, for example, opportunity of recording and playback in colour TV PAL and NTSC on the DV tape, professional control interface RS-422A, RS-232C (option), opportunity of playback of DVCAM recording.
DR-DV5000 — is an attached disk (HDD) recorder. It can be easily integrated with camcorder GY-DV5000, and provides recording in own format of nonlinear systems. Disk can contain up to 4,5 hours of video material in DV format. With DR-DV5000E the recording directly on a disk or simultaneously on a disk and on a film is possible. The shooting material immediately after the shooting on a hard disk can directly be connected to station of nonlinear editing (via IEEE-1394), that instantly does accessible a videomaterial with all metadates without tiresome digitization procedure for editing.
Unlike other similar systems on a hard disk, in this case there are no intermediate steps between shooting and editing.
AutoJet — is a software complex of long-term storage of media content and work with it on the basis of metadates based on robotized CD/DVD libraries.
The activity of a complex implements under the control of two systems — System intended for organization of archiving, distribution of mediacontent (AutoJet MSS) and control ststem of media-asset (AutoJet MAM).
The control system AutoJet MAM configures media-asset, and organizes of archive's control. The work of system based on database control system MS SQL Server 2000. The basic opportunities of AutoJet MAM:
Registration of originally material;
Formation of new media-asset based on the basic of mediaobect, stored in archive;
Structuring of media-asset based on metadates;
Search of a necessary materials on the basis of metadates structure;
Preparation of separate mediaobjects or their sequence for use in the external applications.
AutoJet MSS system provides the basic work of AutoJet complex on a storage and transfer directly of mediacontent. AutoJet MSS provides the control of the CD/DVD libraries's work. Among the basic features of system AutoJet MSS there are:
The opportunity to use of several libraries located in various places and connected to various stations, allows to create the integrate system of a long-term storage;
The optimization of recording on disk carriers by simultaneous use of several drives available in library;
The optimization of optical disk space by placing of file on various disks or on the various parties of one disk.
System of automation of live broadcasting OnAir based on Hardware-software complex of ForvardTX series. The basic features:
Organization of broadcasting or inset in the broadcast channel of videoplots according to time-schedule or with control from the remote source.
Organization of recording of one or several channels with an opportunity of simultaneous editing and broadcasting of the prepared materials with a time delay.
Integration with the external equipment and control opportunity of external devices on GPI or RS-422.
Support of various compression formats (DV25, MJPEG, MPEG2 I-frames) and not compressed signal.
Opportunity to playback videofiles from the remote file servers.
Infonet system, intended for organization and distribution of mediainformation on cable networks.
The system can create on the screen several zones, in each of which it is possible to place a separate material, as a video the information, computer animation, and static images etc. The user can define the location, size and quantity of zones previously or change any of these parameters during broadcasting. There is the opportunity of fast updating of the information in an automatic mode or online from the remote workplaces.
The compact telejournalistic complete set for shooting and editing «Stringer», developed by the experts of ERA company. Stringer is created on the basis of two products from JVC: camcorder of Professional DV family GY-DV301 and Mini Note PC MP-XP7210. The association of these two products has created unique under the characteristics the working tool of the independent journalist, is irreplaceable for TV news services, in corporate and educational telestudios, at operative shootings — Journalist DeskTop!
