ERA company at the 10th Anniversary Central Asian International Exhibition on Telecommunications and Computer Technologies, KITEL 2003 in Almaty
ERA company has taken part in the 10th Anniversary Central Asian International Exhibition on Telecommunications and Computer Technologies, KITEL 2003 which was held from 3 till 6 of June 2003 in Almaty, in the International Exhibition center "Atakent". During the exhibition on the joint stand of firms ERA and DIAS (official partner of ERA company in Kazakhstan) the visitors were able to familiarize with newest lines of equipment from JVC, including camcorder GY-DV5000E, videorecorders BR-DV6000 and BR-DV3000. The equipment of popular ProfessionalDV family has been applied both in studio work, and at outdoor shootings and web-streaming. Due to the optimum cost effectiveness, wide-spread and low cost carrier, a series of products ProfessionalDV has got wide popularity in the world. New models have the unique tape drive mechanism allowing to work with standard and mini DV tapes without any adapter and having an opportunity to recording in DV format on DVCAM tapes. Camcorder GY-DV5000E has three 1/2" CCDs with provides horizontal resolution 800 tv lines in a camera section. It is equipped with composite, Y/C; IEEE 1394 outputs. Besides standard 1.5-inch the black-and-white view-finder, camcorder has the 2.5-inch tilting colour LCD-display. The videorecorders BR-DV6000 and BR-DV3000 are also included into this line up of equipment. Both these devices are capable to work in the TV-standards PAL and NTSC. Editing videorecorder BR-DV6000 is half of standard 19" rack in width and can be easily integrated in professional studio. On its front panel there is LCD-display. The videorecorder can stream video in MPEG-4 format and send it in the Internet in real time via wire or wireless network when the network board (option) is installed. The compact videorecorder BR-DV3000 can work at horizontal, and vertical position as well. It is equipped with video inputs/outputs: composite (RCA), Y/C (4-pin), IEEE-1394 (4pin). And due to a 12-volt power supply it can be used directly on the spot or on the way.
Besides this newest line up it was possible to familiarize with other videoequipment of firms JVC, Sony, Panasonic. The visitors of "Electronic cinema" could evaluate highest quality of the videoimage in digital cinema which projector DLA-SX21 from JVC provides. This most popular projector is intended both for High-End home cinemas, and for halls of digital cinemas and presentations. The highest characteristics of a projector put it outside of competition to projectors of other manufacturers in this price category. High definition and contrast of the image and absence of pixels make the image ideal. During the exhibition the opportunities of use of the digital equipment for alternative applications, for example for organization of the computer game centre were shown. The large screen, multichannel sound, high-quality image and favourite heroes of computer games is was trimming!
For the experts in nonlinear editing the new opportunities of system based on Canopus DV Storm 2 were shown.
The converters of digital video signals of DV format in analog signal and back were shown on the stand. Here it was possible to receive the information on the new videoserver OnAir from SoftLab and under all new projects of ERA company, including Stringer, MMTC etc.
