The 5-th Anniversary Convention and Trade Fair KINO EXPO 2003 was held from 15 to 18 September 2003 in Moscow, Russia. The exhibition KINO EXPO 2003, which was conducted within the framework of Convention and Trade Fair was situated in the Hall No.5 of "Expo Center" Exhibition Center. The viewings of movies, conference, seminars and presentations were taken place in WTC Conference Hall.
The event was organized by KINO EXPO JSC & International Marketing & Development Corp with support of Ministry of culture of Russian Federation & NEVAFILM JSC.
Era company took part in the Convention and Trade Fair KINO EXPO 2003 for the first time this year.
The low-cost system for shooting and editing of cinema (about7000 $) in a digital format of high definition HD was shown for the first time. The ready material was demonstrated on the highest quality projective equipment.
The unique low-cost camcorder JY-HD10U from JVC allows to record a signal in HD format with aspect ratio 16:9 in a mode 1280õ720Ð / 30 f/s. There is an opportunity of play back directly from camcorder to monitors or projectors HD by component signal and conversion of material in D-VHS format through the digital interface IEEE-1394.JY-HD10U can also be used for high-quality recordings in 16:9 format of 480/60P signal and, certainly, there is an opportunity of standard recording of 480i signal in Mini DV format.
Standard complete set of delivery includes the HD editing program MPEG Edit Studio Pro 1.0 LE. This program is the basis for PC-based nonlinear editing system. The system works with videomaterial of MREG-2 format TS of HD quality. The initial material can be received by copying via IEEE-1394 interface. The program allows to edit with the frame-by-frame accuracy, using a graphic material, any audio formats (WAV, WMA, MP2, MP3) and video of SD quality.
The newest tape recorder SR-VD400U from JVC of D-VHS format with a code D-Theater was used as a source for showing of edited material. SR-VD400U can record 1080i or 720p digital signals via IEEE-1394 digital interface from PC, HD camcorder or from set-top box. The SR-VD400U can play and record legacy analog recordings in the VHS and S-VHS modes in NTSC standart.
The exposition of ERA company was included variant of electronic cinema with a sound Dolby Digital 5.1 based on the projector DLA-SX21 from JVC. This unique projector provides the resolution 1400õ1050 pix, brightness 1500 ANSI lumen, contrast 800:1, real HD-image standard 720ð, 1080i, 1080ð and etc. DLA-SX21 has wide area of application — from high-quality mobile presentations up to electronic cinemas.
Using system Odyssee from D-Box in the cinema, it is possible to achieve completely other level of emotional influence on the spectator. The system works as follows: the experts of the company create special kinematical filmscript in advance, and system connected with an armchair of the spectator, transfers a mechanical impetus synchronized with image and soundtrack, that considerably strengthens impression of the spectators during viewing. You’re drawn into the action as never before as you experience the same motional forces as the actors and players you’re watching. The emotional effects and spine-tingling excitement created by Odyssee are breathtaking!
