The Digital Cinematography is the technologically completed digital process of production, distribution and show of movies. The basic advantage of digital technologies - invariance of image quality at copying, storage, reproduction and transfer. Besides it, the digital technologies provide more flexible approach in work with the information. The transference of all cinematography technical base on the digital equipment has not only economic profit, but also provides new opportunities inaccessible earlier in traditional cinema. There is a possible simultaneous realization of worldwide premiere with use of digital satellite and optical fibre channels of distribution. Besides movies the digital cinemas can give the wide screen to the spectators for viewing in real time of the important cultural, political and sports events. Russia which is not having today well-run network of film-hire, is very perspective country for introduction of all technological chain of an electronic cinematograph: digital HD-production, digital HD-broadcasting (distribution) and digital HD-movie show.

The scientists have reported (Scientific Research Institute on Radio, State Unitary Enterprise - Scientific Research Institute on Cinema&Photography, Culturology Institute); top experts of firm-manufactures JVC, Sony, Snell&Wilcox, Panasonic; the representatives of the companies - manufacturers of movies (UMP) and operators of satellite communication (Space communication), Mass Media (magazines "Motion Picture and Television Technology", Widescreen Review (USA)) etc.
The opportunities of digital cinematography were evidently demonstrated during shows of film-materials from digital projectors of firm JVC DLA-QX1, DLA-M5000SC in Concert Hall. For the first time in Russia the quality QXGA on the film-screen was shown from hight quality digital projector DLA-QX1. In their projector - DLA-QX1 - JVC realized the high resolution 2048x1536, contrast more 1000:1, the large brightness of light streaming - 7000 lumen, that has made this product the representative of new standard quality of the image in a digital cinematography. All shows were accompanied by an applause, that confirmed highest quality of the saturate and definite image, which has afford true pleasure to the spectator.
During the conference it was possible to appreciate quality of the image from various sources: from QuVis's disk HD-recorder QuBit, from Sony'svideorecorder HDCAM, from JVC's HD-videorecorder HМ-DH30000UD-VHS format, from DVD-player. It was possible to compare quality of the material which has been shooting on various types of carriers.
The shows of movie fragments were held in the full audience Neptun hall with the help of projectors DLA-SX21 and DLA-G150CL from HD-sources with use of system Dolby Digital. Everyone, who has visited digital cinema, have noted magnificent quality of project image with an exact colour rendition, naturalness and without artefact of compression and digital structure.
During the conference stormy discussions were held which were not stopped even in foyer, both during coffee - break and after ending of conference.
